What does this analysis do?
The domain analysis plots out the different domains found in the patent pool on a map of cells. Each color and approximate position relates to a larger domain.
How does it work?
The analysis starts automatically when clicked. The analysis extracts the classification codes at Subsclass level, generates a domain description and subsequently clusters the domains at Section level.
How to operate the results?
Click on a cell to view the underlying patents of the domain, you will get the patents in that domain of your patent pool.
What does it tell me?
This analysis indicates which domains are described in your patent pool. You can find different domains that are similar to yours based on their classification code combinations.
If you have a specific problem, you could find which other similar domains have already solved your problem.
